First of all, we want to *big big* thank all the participants. They all took on their time to produce a video, and we know what a heavy work it could be...
Then we are pleasantly surprised by the quantity and the quality of those videos. You really played the game !
We also would like to express our very good feelings about this contest : we noticed a very good mood everywhere... Competitors congratulating others for their work, jokes, fun and so. Very cool frame of mind.
The jury was composed of 4 persons plus my cat, chosen for their different abilities : Patafix! (Mice mistress!), Cyril Lefebvre (Uke master!), Dominique Petitgand (Sound master!), Catherine de Rosa (Esthetics mistress!) and Antoine Carolus (huh... Chord master ?).
We used a "grid" of precise criteria in relation with the "order" which was Creativity. In the purpose not to be too subjective, each of us put a note (1 to 5) on each of those ten criteria :
- Validity (more or less a Cha Cha : we've been very indulgent ! :) - Creativity in the images - Creativity in movie direction - Creativity in editing - Creativity in lyrics (not held in averaging in case of instrumentals) - Creativity in voice/singing (not held in averaging in case of instrumentals) - Creativity in music - Creativity in rythm - Creativity in arrangement - Other qualities.
...and then made averages. This lead to a classification.
The least videos in our classification are not "bad videos"... They just may be "off the criteria". Another list of criteria would have led to another classification...
The prizes will be sent during the next week. Please be patient!
